A residential complex with 37 rental apartments and an underground car park was built in the Axam district of Pafnitz. The three buildings were planned in line with a sustainable energy concept. The energy comes from a wood chip heating system and photovoltaic systems were installed. The buildings were given a hybrid design that includes an attractive wooden facade. Formparts in ivory add stunning highlights to the building envelope and offer an exciting contrast to the wood. Additional complexes are being planned. Photos: Ditz Fejer
