In the heart of Hebburn, the revolutionary Paul Younger Energy Center stands as a testament to the community’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. With this project, South Tyneside Council aims to reduce emissions and achieve carbon-neutral operations by 2030. The completion of the project marks a significant milestone on the path to a greener and more environmentally conscious future. The center generates electricity and heat, using natural gas as its primary source. The exterior is clad with concrete skin panels, specially manufactured for the project with a unique texture.
