Old building, new architecture
Old building, new architecture
Old building, new architecture
A typical 1960s office building has been transformed into a striking corporate headquarters through revitalization. The extensive renovation reinterprets the building’s form and function, blending dynamic exterior design with a refined interior. The facade renovation, in particular, makes a bold architectural statement: the previously monotonous ribbon window facade has been replaced with vibrant öko skin slats in a variety of grey tones. Glassfibre reinforced concrete elements shape the exterior with a clear, contemporary aesthetic. Wood-look louvres complete the design while providing sun protection and privacy. The combination of cool greys and warm wood accents creates a balance between modern sophistication and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The thoughtful redesign merges structural and functional requirements with innovative architecture. Photos: Mojo Stumer
