Lors de la rénovation du cœur du bâtiment de l’Institut des sciences d’Freiburg, une nouvelle bibliothèque moderne a été édifiée dans la cour intérieure de l’îlot. Les étudiants peuvent profiter sur deux étages de vastes espaces de lecture vitrés et de 200 postes de travail. Des archives se trouvent en sous-sol. La façade a été revêtue de lattes d’öko skin en sahara. La construction ajoutée de couleur sable se fond donc habilement dans les bâtiments existants. Photos: Ditz Fejer
