Light-Dark Contrast

The Münchner Platz in Dresden is characterised by magnificent Wilhelminian-style facades, which lend this district a special charm. The accentuated building envelope of the new “mzwei” residential complex harmoniously blends into the overall picture. concrete skin panels and sharp-edged formparts in anthracite were used for the lower part of the building envelope. The dark elements provide an exciting contrast to the otherwise light facade. The city apartments in the Südvorstadt district are kept in a timeless modern style. Large balconies and loggias afford stunning views and offer privacy at the same time. Selected materials and quality design create an urban living space in a green location. Photos: Ditz Fejer
