A modern, multifunctional conference and exhibition hall has been constructed at the Cologne Trade Fair grounds. With its architectural form, Confex Hall integrates seamlessly into the ensemble of existing exhibition buildings and expands the site with a flexible event space. The new venue accommodates events for up to 4,300 participants and offers adaptable connections to adjacent halls, allowing for a wide range of possible uses. The facade features 2,900 m² of concrete skin panels and formparts in polar white. Three-dimensional lamella structures enhance the exterior with a dynamic sense of depth, creating an engaging interplay of light and shadow. The project has been pre-certified Platinum by the DGNB.
