The four-story building connects the first floor to the campus of Kettering University. The architects created dynamic common rooms and dining halls designed to encourage communication and interaction among students. The interior spaces combine great flexibility with state-of-the-art technologies to provide the best possible conditions for learning and research. The building envelope was clad with concrete skin panels in ivory. It was ultimately the sustainable, non-combustible and robust properties of the material that convinced the architects to use the facade elements. Phots: Ditz Fejer
