The Chalet Alpenrose was completely renovated with due consideration of particular ecological and architectural aspects. Only high quality local materials were used for the interior construction and facade. Rieder glassfibre reinforced concrete was used on both the outside and inside of the building. L-shaped formparts are used for parts of the facade. The energy facade of the chalet sets new standards in terms of energy saving. The facade was subjected to complete thermal renovation: the bionics system from Rieder uses the façade surface for thermal activation. Photos: Ditz Fejer
