Old building, new architecture

Old building, new architecture

Old building, new architecture

A typical 1960s office complex has been transformed into a striking corporate headquarters through revitalisation. The comprehensive renovation reinterprets the building’s form and function, combining dynamic exterior design with a sophisticated interior. The facade renovation, in particular, makes a strong architectural statement: the previously monotonous ribbon window facade has been replaced with vibrant öko skin slats in various shades of grey. Glassfibre reinforced concrete elements give the exterior a clear, contemporary aesthetic. Wooden-look louvres complete the design while providing both sun protection and privacy. The interplay of cool greys and warm wood tones creates a balance between modern elegance and a welcoming, inviting atmosphere. The thoughtful redesign unites structural and functional requirements with innovative architecture. Photos: Mojo Stumer
