Comprehensive renovation and modernisation of the student residence

Comprehensive renovation and modernisation of the student residence
The student residence has undergone a complete renovation and modernisation. As part of the works, not only was the existing structure refurbished, but the 5th floor was also removed and replaced with a timber construction featuring a monopitch roof. The facade received a high-quality cladding of öko skin slats, giving the building a striking appearance. The rooms were redesigned and the sanitary facilities upgraded to enhance comfort for the students. Particular attention was paid to sustainable energy concepts: the installation of a photovoltaic system and a comfort ventilation system significantly improved energy efficiency and optimised the indoor climate. The result is a modern and sustainable residence that meets the highest pedagogical and energy standards, providing students with an optimal learning and living environment. Photos: Ditz Fejer
