The Bremer Spurwerk forges connections and invites a reimagining of urban spaces. Through precise geometry and intentional material choices, it tells a story of the past, transformation, and the future. Covering approximately 90,000 m², this inspiring hub for ideas and innovation has emerged between Bremen’s Neustadt and Woltmershausen districts. High-quality work environments and commercial units provide space for offices, craftsmanship, and gastronomy, fostering an exciting mix of industries. The building seamlessly blends contemporary facade design with urban identity. Its six floors are characterised by vertical layering, with the ground floor standing out thanks to generous ceiling heights and three-dimensional glassfibre reinforced concrete elements. A horizontal banding of arrow-shaped features lends linear structure to the complex and creates a unique identity. The overlying brickwork subtly references the site’s industrial heritage.
