The TechBase innovation centre was developed at the TechCampus Regensburg close to the center and in direct connection to the Regensburg university campus with the aim of promoting the close cooperation between science and industry in Regensburg.

In keeping with its importance as a prelude building to the planning area, the new innovation centre is a striking building that marks the identity of the entire site in its characteristic form. With its high point, the IZR is facing towards the new main development, making it clearly visible from afar.
