New collection

Fitting with current trends and developments, Rieder offers a range of additional processes for the creation of individual building envelopes. The glassfibre reinforced concrete material, fibreC, offers numerous possibilities to print on the panel, illuminate patterns, cut out ornaments or lettering, or incorporate a relief-like surface. In collaboration with planners and architects, new color collections and special textures were developed this year.

  • Endless possibilities

Glassfibre reinforced concrete is a natural material. Its raw materials that originate from nature create a special, concrete-like surface.

  • Crystalline Silica free

Rieder consistently implements the highest environmental and health standards and endeavours to minimise harmful and poisonous substances. The material fibreC is free of crystalline silica and therefore contains no hazardous components.

  • Fire protection

The material guarantees absolute safety and fire resistance due to its excellent thermal properties (fire protection class A1 "non-combustible" according to DIN 4102).

New colors

Inspired by the traditional construction method, using wood and brick, the new color collections of bricky and timber have been created. The use of this coloring for the glassfibre reinforced concrete panels is revolutionary. Warm colors were used during the development, inspired by the magnificent variety of the colors of nature. The timber collection is based on quiet, grounded shades of brown and a wood look. It offers a mix of rustic style with a Scandinavian touch. The bricky collection, in contrast, is colorful and lively. It is based on upbeat, red shades, which are reminiscent of the atmosphere of old brick houses.

The creation of the new color collection pietra is inspired by the warm, calming hues of the Mediterranean. The sandy nuances were based on the extraordinary appearance of natural stones and oriented around the pristine charm of nature. The multifaceted colors blend harmoniously into the surroundings.

New textures

The new textures add liveliness and depth to any facade. The various structures create an exciting interplay of light and shadow that changes depending on the angle of view. The new textures open up additional freedom for architects and room for individual ideas. The different characteristics better emphasize the naturalness of the concrete material and the authentic appearance.

formparts.fab

The new, sharp-edged formparts.fab are the logical evolution of the formparts product. The edge can be formed with a chamfer of 1/8“ (+/- 1/16″). Another benefit is that the maximum processing width is larger and more combinations of different formparts are available. In addition, more finishes and textures are available, and thus more design options. The formparts allow for a whole new dimension for design on a facade.

öko skin stripes

The new öko skin stripes with three different widths enable architects numerous possibilities in slatted design. They are available in a length of 8‘ 2-7/16“ or 10‘ 2-1/16“ and a width of 2-3/4”, 5 3/4“ and 12”. The sequencing of the slats is pre-defined.

Perforation

Small gaps in the large glassfibre reinforced concrete panels create a partial view of the surroundings. This results in an interesting interplay between transparency and cladding. Appropriate lighting or solar radiation creates an interesting interaction between light and shade in the direct surroundings. Perforated panels can be used in a variety of ways – as a partition, sun protection or design element.
