Markdale Hospital has evolved into a modern healthcare centre, ensuring medical care for the surrounding communities. The redesign of the hospital increases capacity for emergencies, outpatient services, diagnostics, and treatments. The interior spaces impress with bright and welcoming areas filled with natural light, creating a comfortable environment for staff, patients, and visitors. A colour-coded wayfinding system aids intuitive navigation. The design reflects the needs of the community and addresses the unique challenges of the healthcare sector. The colour and material concept was inspired by the aesthetics and character of the surrounding communities. öko skin slats in various shades of grey integrate seamlessly into the overall design.
