Wood and concrete prove to be an unbeatable team on the facade.

Wood and concrete

The private residential building in Munich was designed as a cube with clear lines. Its height was given structure by dividing the facade horizontally. The ground floor and the top floor were clad with glassfibre reinforced concrete panels in ivory. The architects used cedar wood slats for the middle part of the building envelope. The combination of the two natural materials create harmonious contrasts. Photos: Gunter Bieringer

The elements in the colour ivory harmonise with the cedar wood.
