The traffic projects German Unity (VDE) are large-scale construction projects for traffic connections between East and West Germany. The construction project Nuremberg-Berlin as part of this project shortens the travel time between Munich and Berlin to 4 hours. The route is designed for a speed of 300 km/h and thus the first Rieder noise protection project on a high-speed route. A total of 24,600 m² Faseton Block were used. Rieder is supplying and assembling not only the absorbers, but also the grounding concept and approx. 7,000 m² base.
