Southwestern College

Math & Science Building
Chula Vista, USA

The new complex of Southwestern College accommodates state-of-the-art lecture halls, laboratories, computer labs, study areas, offices and a Maker Lab with 3D printer. The Maths & Science building is the flagship for innovative programmes with a focus on drone technology and other new technologies, among other things. The new building was awarded LEED Silver for its sustainable design. For the building envelope, the architects used öko skin slats in silvergrey. The facade impressed with its durability, low maintenance, simple installation as well as absolute fire resistance.
