Sandersleben district road

Sandersleben, Germany

To rehabilitate a large-scale landslide on the district road 3221 in the district of Sandersleben, it was necessary to provide a support structure below the road. A Rieder retaining wall of type RGW 200/2-5 with an installation depth of 200 cm and a pitch of 500/50 cm was installed. Due to unfavourable ground conditions, it was necessary to anchor the foundations. In parts, the foundations were additionally placed on micro pillars with a diameter of 40 mm.
