For the noise abatement measures on the A2 highway in Edlitz, architect Thomas Tauber has come up with something special: A wave-shaped pattern was milled into the 3.8 m and 6 m long Rieder noise barriers. The elongated waves blend into the landscape and create even, calm wall structures. For road users, they create a clearer traffic situation and reduce stress. A total of 1,500 m² of noise barriers with Faseton waves were produced for the project.
