Visual and tactile diversity

The Carpinteria Sanitary District provides cost-effective and reliable wastewater treatment. A new building was clad with öko skin slats in walnut. The calm, grounded brown shade blends in with the surrounding countryside. The combination of three different surface textures in the same colour creates a lively appearance. It also creates a diverse range of visual impressions and haptic experiences. Photos: Ditz Fejer
