Interior and Exterior

An extension on a roof in Neuilly, a suburb of Paris, was clad with concrete skin panels in sahara. The sandy shade harmonises with the wooden floor of the terrace. The extremely thin yet robust glassfibre reinforced concrete panels were used not only on the building envelope but also in the interior. For the floor, the architect used elements in anthracite. The panels blend into the interior, creating a modern and purist look and a pleasantly warm and homely atmosphere. Photos: Javier Callejas
