Warm hues on the exterior

The Bus Interchange is a new traffic junction in the middle of the city of Christchurch. The light-flooded rooms and the unusual roof make it as pleasant as possible for travellers. For the facade, the architects at Architectus used concrete skin panels in the colour terracotta. The warm shade further emphasises the pleasant atmosphere. Photos: Simon Devitt
