Linear facade bands

The architects at Axthelm Rolvien opted for the sustainable concrete skin panels by Rieder for this office and commercial building in Hamburg. More than 1,900 m² of glassfibre reinforced concrete elements in ivory were used for the facade. In addition to durability, low maintenance and total fire resistance, Rieder has many other arguments up its sleeve when it comes to ecology. It goes without saying that Rieder uses non-toxic products (free of crystalline silica) and reduces its use of primary energy in production to a minimum. Photos: Rasmus Norlander

The architects were impressed by the panel's sustainability and fire resistance.
The authentic appearance of the elements creates a natural vibrancy on the facade.
