Innovative noise control
Systems for
roads and railways
Depending on the requirements, Rieder offers various systems for protecting people from noise. The modular building blocks of the systems can be combined as desired – under economical conditions with perfect predictability of the costs. They have been developed by architects and traffic psychologists and are characterised by an optimal combination of function and design.
Railways
The modular system, “Railways by Rieder”, allows for suitable solutions for railway tracks for open-land routes, tunnels, bridges, and railway stations.

Due to the curved shape of the noise barrier, an improved acoustic barrier can be achieved.

The low-rised noise protection wall, Rieder 360°, provides a clear view of the landscape and the surrounding area.

The product range of the low-rised noise barrier, Rieder 360°, also offers special solutions for railway tracks where several tracks run side by side.

The centre panels of the low-rised noise protection wall can optionally be supplemented with add-on elements in order to increase the acoustic barrier effect.

The Rieton track absorber is installed between or on the outsides of the railway tracks and is available in a walkable and driveable design.

The free-standing noise barrier can be fitted with absorbers on one side or on both sides.

By using add-on elements, the height of a noise barrier can be reduced or the noise protection effect can be increased, depending on local conditions.

The specially developed platform edges absorb the sound directly at the noise source and offer noise control for railway stations.

Roads
The product portfolio, “Roads by Rieder”, encompasses a wide range of noise protection measures for roads, centre strips, underpass railway lines, and bridges.

The combination of concrete guide walls with noise control add-ons provides a mobile and flexible noise control system that requires little space.

For multi-lane roads, Rieder offers a centre strip system, consisting of noise barriers that absorb the sound on both sides.

With the curved noise barrier, Rieder offers an economical alternative to enclosures that can be easily integrated into the environment.
