Prefabricated parts for roads and railways
Rieder offers a wide range of prefabricated concrete parts for road and railway applications, such as edge beams, cable troughs, cable ducts, passages, ditch walls, platform edges, cable runways, special cover plates, cable runway junctions, restoration platform edges, chutes, small bridges, slotted channels, tubbings/slit gutters, drainage channels, transformer stations, and cattle grids.
Enclosures and avalanche galleries
Constructive prefabricated parts for enclosures provide protection against rock fall, especially in mountainous regions,
and avalanches on endangered road sections. They can also be used as slope stabilisation or noise protection measures.
The quick building blocks made of concrete can be moved quickly and economically with almost any lifting device. The concrete elements can be set up and stacked even in already rising waters and on uneven ground. This allows building effective flood protection walls with high guiding effect and stability.
With a wide range of building block types, the concrete dry modular system offers versatile
application options, e.g., as walls, storage and bulk material boxes, partitions, or storage halls. The solid building blocks with a length of up to 2.4 m can be stacked and rearranged in a “Lego brick” fashion. The mobile and modular building block system is characterised by cost-effectiveness and fast assembly.
The tunnel guide system keeps migrating small animals, such as amphibians, reptiles, or small mammals, from crossing the road on the lanes and permits safe crossing of the road. This ensures continuous protection throughout the year, without any recurring set-up and tear-down costs. During the construction of new roads, the guide walls are integrated directly; for existing roads, they are installed along the road banks.
Carcare is a vehicle shelter developed by Rieder that protects vehicles reliably against weather effects, such as rain, snow, hail, or foliage. Thanks to the prefabricated construction, multiple elements can be lined up to provide protection for larger vehicle fleets. This is why the vehicle shelter can be used for private and commercial purposes.
Due to their high sound absorption, sustainability, and longevity, containers made of prefabricated concrete are particularly suited as biogas boxes, combined heat and power plants, technical rooms, or to house generator sets. Thanks to the high degree of prefabrication of the concrete containers, they are quickly assembled on site. Optionally, the inside surfaces can also be clad with highly absorbent noise absorbers made of wood concrete.
Urn wall systems
Space-saving and low-maintenance urn systems have long been an indispensable addition
to traditional burial chambers. Prefabricated concrete elements provide an ecological, economical, and flexible solution for urn walls. The modular systems offer a wide variety of options,
are expandable at any time, and can be easily integrated into existing burial grounds, such as cemetery walls.
